WELL I WORK FOR CBS, AND I CAN TELL YOU FIRST HAND THERE ARE ABOUT FOUR CALLS CENTERS FOR CBS, 1 IN CANADA, MEXICO, SOME OTHER COUNTRY, AND THE NEWEST ONE IN DALLAS, TX AS OF MID 2008. WE ARE GOING TO TAKE THE CONTRACTS FROM OVER SEAS B/C THE DALLAS CALL CENTER CONTRACT IS THE ONE THAT UNDERSTANDS WHAT REAL AMERICANS GO THROUGH. WE KNOW THAT UR PAYCHECK DOESNT GO AS FAR ANYMORE, WE KNOW HOW U GUYS FEEL. IVE BEEN IN JAIL TWICE AND IT *** WHEN U CANT TALK WITH ANYONE. BUT THIS COMP DALLAS LOCATION HAS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WE HANDLE CALLS MUCH BETTER, THAN THE OUTSOURCES. WE WILL EVENTUALLY TAKE BUSINESS FROM OTHER OUTSOURCE CALL CENTERS, AND BE FULLY OPERATIONAL FROM Dalllas in less than a year from now. IF U DONT LIKE THE AGENT CALL BACK AND TRY nd get some one else maybe with a better answer, what i dont like about my job is there is alot of misinformation that messes things up for people. Try and find out where ur calling next time, cuz u might have better luck with any issue if ur speaking withh a dallas agent. and hopefully one day congress will be able to regulate this type of service to make it fair for all consumers....good luck users, hope u speak to ur loved ones real soon

Okay.. no one is mad at you because their loved one is in jail..where the heck did someone blame you for that?! Like any other human being, people are frustrated when they call because they're being overcharged or have been given misleading information.

Now the only thing people want is good customer service. its very frustrating when customer service is unwilling to help. Maybe if the company were more clear on the charges an so forth, this problem wouldnt exist.

and yes.. we're mad at you because of someone else's actions..its all your fault!!! give me a break...

I don't have a problem with my son being in jail - he put himself there. I do, however, have a BIG problem with scams, fraud, monopolies, and the such. And that is just what CBS is. I got calls from my son for TEN MONTHS w/o CBS. They have now blocked my phone so as to force me to open an "account" with them. Well, guess what - it ain't gonna happen. If they're not scammers, then I don't know who is. I entered bogus numbers to get through to their "English" speaking customer service and was told my "account" was okay - clear - good, etc. They are bogus!

I'm also an agent, and I know, policies are confusing, but....as another person said the inmates did it to themselves. Don't get mad and yell and scream at us, just because you don't like the fact that your loved one is incarcerated. It's not our fault.
